Review on the Application of Machine Vision in Defrosting and Decondensation on the Surface of Heat Exchanger

Under low outdoor temperature and high humidity, frost easily forms on the Heat Exchanger (Exchanger) surface side. The formation growth of this layer will seriously impact Exchanger’s heat extraction process system’s energy efficiency, triggering malfunction in compressor. To end, work first analyzes mechanism frosting condensation. It then summarizes current research status Machine Vision (MV) technology defrosting decondensation. Further, it previews follow-up direction. experimental findings show that MV can automatically observe dew, guaranteeing a real-time understanding layer. Directly obtaining dew information from image significantly save human resources improve efficiency.
